Rukum writes about the incident, 'Is justice done by killing the character of a teenager?'

Nepali filmmakers are keeping their word about the incident in West Rukum. Condemning the incident of Nawaraj Vik and his friends being beaten to death by the girl's side, the filmmakers said that those who commit criminal acts on the basis of caste should be punished according to the law.

Actress Rekha Thapa has also demanded action against the perpetrators of the Rukum incident and immediate justice for the victims. However, she lamented that the teenager (Sushma Malla Thakuri) involved in the incident had committed character assassination on social media and had tarnished her female identity. He said that such activities were an attack on the oppressed class.
She writes on Facebook, 'Is justice done by killing the character of a girl who has the courage to make interracial love against society? Should a girl auction off her social and character assets in the market before the culprit is prosecuted? Is it possible to get justice in Nepal only by insulting girls and men? Is it permissible to write uncontrollable things about a teenager who is under investigation? '
She further writes, 'In the group, Brahmins, Chhetri, Janajatis who have to be abused? Does a girl rebel by grabbing a man's petticoat? Who will respond if the girl jumps into the river because she has already been subjected to mental violence and torture before being found guilty or innocent? ' It insists on establishing racist thinking in more and more children.

Stating that the girl should be punished if found guilty, actress Thapa said that the 17-year-old girl should not be subjected to mental and social harassment without being found guilty or innocent. He says that if he gets justice by ruining the life of a teenager, no daughter will love anyone tomorrow. Some have supported his statement while others have opposed Rekha.
