Sending home without quarantine test?

Those in quarantine will be sent home without PCR test. The Ministry of Health and Population has adopted such a policy as per the new national testing guideline COVID-19. According to the new guideline, the infected person will be kept for 14 days and sent home in three more days if there is no problem.

The guideline states that those who do not have symptoms will be sent without testing after 14 days. The guideline issued by the Ministry of Health on June 6 said, "But those who are currently in quarantine can be RDTed after 15 days."
A senior health ministry official claimed that the government had set its own guidelines after failing to provide adequate PCR testing. "The government has made its own guidelines to hide its incompetence," he said.
Former Director of Epidemiology and Disease Control Division Dr. Baburam Marasini warned that such a policy could further spread the infection. "Everyone around the world, including the World Health Organization (WHO), is calling for increased PCR testing to identify and diagnose the infection," he said

A spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Vikas Devkota has been saying that most of the newly infected are in quarantine. "A 28-year-old man from Surkhet Panchpuri came home from India and stayed in the local quarantine for 14 days. When he tested negative for RDT, he returned home," said Dr. Devkota said in an update on Friday, "The death toll has risen to 11 as the corona tested positive for PCR." This incident shows how risky it is to send home if a negative report is seen by doing RDT in quarantine. The man died on the second day after being sent home after an RDT report on quarantine turned out to be negative.
Dr. Trivi Teaching Hospital Department of Biochemistry. Vinod Yadav said that unreliable RDT use would create more problems. The man from Surkhet died suddenly due to respiratory problems. Later, while taking PCR test by taking a throat sample, the corona was seen, 'he said. He said that those who are in quarantine should be sent home and at least PCR test should be done to ensure that there is no active covid.
According to the doctors, the ministry has even issued a circular on June 3 regarding immediate RDT testing of those currently in quarantine. The medical superintendent of Narayani Hospital, Dr. Krishna Kumar, said that the RDT of quarantine patients should be sent home if it is negative and PCR test should be done only if it is positive. Madan Kumar Upadhyaya informed. "Quarantineers should not be left without PCR. It is even more unscientific to test with RDT," said Dr Upadhyay.
Even in Saptari of Province 2, those who have come from India are being quarantined. The doctors there do not agree to send the quarantineer home for RDT testing. "Despite the government's circular, we do not consider it appropriate to do RDT on those who are in quarantine," said Gajendra Narayan Singh, medical superintendent of Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital. Chuman Lal Das says, "Even if it is late, we will send everyone from India home only after doing PCR." As RDT is unreliable, he said that he has requested to arrange PCR test even in the meeting of CCMC.
In the West, RDT testing is not even available for those in quarantine. According to the local health workers, they have returned home from the quarantine without even doing RDT. "Even though it is better to return home after undergoing PCR test, there is no RDT test at present," said the medical superintendent of Seti Zonal Hospital. Hemraj Pandey said, "For 9 districts in the far west, only about 220 samples are tested in one day from one PCR machine."

Currently, 166,765 people are in quarantine. Experts have suggested that most of the quarantine coroners from abroad, including India, should be tested by PCR when they are sent home.
The death toll rose to 11
On Friday, 278 new cases of corona virus were confirmed. At the same time, the total number of infected people has reached 2,912. A 28-year-old man was killed in Surkhet on Thursday and 11 people have died in Corona. On Friday, 4,232 samples were tested using PCR method. So far, 88,366 samples of PCR have been tested. Similarly, 7,402 samples were tested from RDT on Friday. So far, the number of people tested by RDT has reached 132,966.

At present, corona has been seen in 68 districts and 333 people have recovered and returned.
