May 22: Another 17 cases of corona virus have been added in Nepal. They are from Jhapa, Dhankuta and Sunsari districts.
At the same time, the number of confirmed corona infections in Nepal has reached 444, said Samir Kumar Adhikari, Joint Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population.
Corona virus infection has been confirmed in 15 people of Kachnakawal village in Jhapa district. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, corona has been found infected in wards 3, 6 and 8 of Kachnakawal village municipality. They are men in the age group of 18 to 46 years.
Similarly, a 34-year-old man from Dhankuta and a 51-year-old woman from Sunsari's Dharan sub-metropolitan area have also been identified as Korana.
According to the ministry, tests conducted at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan and Provincial Public Health Laboratory, Biratnagar, found 17 new cases.
His health is normal and he is in touch with all health workers, the ministry said.
