A man has been arrested for raping his own daughter. A 43-year-old father of Sindhupalchowk Melamchi Municipality-11 has been arrested for repeatedly raping his daughter.
According to Madhav Prasad Kafle, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, a team from Melamchi Area Police Office arrested the father from his house on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim.
The victim's mother had lodged a verbal complaint with the police on April 25 alleging that she had tried to rape the girl by undressing her inside the house.
Police had started investigation into the incident on the same basis. During the investigation, the victim had admitted that her father had raped her four years ago.
Kafle said the incident was being further investigated and a case would be filed against the rape industry.
