ANFA Working Committee Meeting Will Be Decided, 5 Agendas Including Annual Budget Will Be Discussed

Agency. The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has convened a working committee meeting on June 3 to discuss current issues.

According to ANFA's amended constitution, the working committee members have to be informed 7 days before the meeting.

Accordingly, ANFA has called a meeting for next Monday.

ANFA spokesperson Kiran Rai informed that the meeting was being held through video conference due to the spread of the corona virus as an epidemic.

Five agendas including ANFA's annual budget have been decided in the meeting.

The meeting will discuss the issue of corona relief to be provided to corona affected districts, clubs and individuals.

ANFA had earlier called on all districts and clubs affected by the Corona to apply.

Accordingly, based on the request from the district and the club, ANFA has demanded relief money from FIFA.

FIFA has already said it will support the football community around the world affected by the corona.

Similarly, ANFA's general assembly, discipline and various agendas have been fixed for the meeting.

The meeting will decide on ANFA's annual general meeting. Similarly, the agenda of discipline has also been included.

Last year, ANFA had suspended Lalitpur district chairman Purushottam Thapa till the general assembly on the charge of anti-institutional activities.

The ANFA secretariat meeting had decided to suspend the Lalitpur district chairperson after seeking clarification.

Although the decision was taken after informal discussions with the members of the working committee, it is seen that the issue will be included in the agenda of the meeting.
