Rescue of Sarita Chepang family from Odhar
The Sarita Chepang family, who have been living in Odhar for a year due to the lockdown, has been rescued. Prem Khatri, a tourism entrepreneur from Arupokhari, Gorkha and Kalpana Shrestha, a social worker from Gorkha, rescued the Chepang family and brought them home.
Kishor Jung Thapa, president of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Gorkha, informed that an ambulance was sent to his house at Arughat 8, Arupokhari.
He said that the helper arranged an ambulance and provided food, shelter, clothes and some cash for household expenses. Binod Basnet, a trader of Gorkha Bazaar, had arranged for a blanket.
