Indians have reacted sharply after Nepal issued a new map covering the country's western border area. Especially the Indian media has resorted to 'unrestrained' propaganda.

There is a kind of enthusiasm among Nepalis that Nepal has made public the map including Kalapani, Lipulek, Limpiyadhura and other areas under Indian encroachment.
Like other Nepalis, actress Manisha Koirala could not hide her happiness.
She retweeted the tweet of Foreign Minister Pradip Gyawali from her Twitter handle and thanked the Government of Nepal for releasing the new map. She also hoped that Nepal, China and India would resolve the dispute through dialogue.
However, the Indian media lashed out at Manisha as if to say, "Let's get rid of Kanika."
Not one, not two, almost all Indian televisions accused Manisha of 'eating India's food and singing China's song'.
Meanwhile, actress Koirala's statement has been openly welcomed by all walks of life in the country.
On social media, Nepalis are encouraging Koirala that she is a Nepali girl even though her hometown is Mumbai, India and that she has expressed the same sentiments.
Nepali artists are also standing with actress Koirala at this time.
Many actors including Rajesh Hamal, comedian Manoj Gajurel, Deepak Raj Giri, singer Ram Krishna Dhakal, Sathya Raj Acharya and singer Indira Joshi have expressed their indignation over the Indian media's criticism and praised actress Koirala.
Actor Sunil Thapa, who has worked with actress Manisha Koirala in Hindi films, says, "When we take actors to Bollywood, it is not out of kindness."
Often Indian televisions present very weak and superficial content on Nepal.
Whether it was during the earthquake or the current border dispute, their presentation was negative.
In this regard, senior journalist Rajendra Dahal says, "The work of Nepali media is done by Indian media. If Indian analysts have said wrong things, that wrong should be refuted."
