A woman who lost her life due to corona infection has been discharged today along with her newborn baby and other family members.
Dhulikhel Hospital said in a statement that everyone, including newborns, has been discharged.
The family members of the deceased woman were discharged after a PCR test was conducted and no corona infection was detected, the statement said.
Twice PCR corona testing of the newborn also resulted in a negative report.
The baby was diagnosed with jaundice and was taken to a pediatrician, but the hospital said he had recovered.
The newborn baby was discharged after the doctor declared him fit.
A 29-year-old woman of Barhabise Municipality-9 had died on May 22 due to corona infection.
He is the first person to die from Corona in Nepal. She was 9 days pregnant.
