Kanchanpur. A ward chairperson involved in quarantine management has died in Kanchanpur.
Kallu Rana, ward chairman of Krishnapur Municipality-7 of Kanchanpur, died last night while managing the quarantine of his own ward.
Karna Hamal, chief of the municipality, said that Rana, 58, who had been working in quarantine management all day, died after eating food and fainting when he went to quarantine again at 10:30 pm.
Rana's body has been kept at Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadhi. His corona will be tested, said the mayor.
